GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) Former Oklahoma State running back Vernand Morency ran for 2 touchdowns to help the Green Bay Packers to a 17-9 win over Detroit.

Morency ran for 54 yards on just 7 carries and scored on runs of 14 and 21 yards.

Morency was traded to Green Bay by Houston before the start of the season and now has 393 yards rushing as a backup to starter Ahman Green.
