SAPULPA, Okla. (AP) -- The owner of a tattoo parlor in Sapulpa faces charges of tattooing and performing body piercing on a minor without the parent's permission.
Police say the mother of the minor girl accuses David Bennett of piercing the girl's tongue and sewing the girl's lips together then blindfolding her and taking a photo of her. He's also accused of tattooing the girl's neck.
The girl's age wasn't released but court documents say she is under 18 and told Bennett before the piercing and tattoo work.
Bennett faces up to 60 days in jail and a $150 fine on each count if convicted.
