OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- An Oklahoma City police sergeant and two people were injured this morning when the officer crashed into a car while chasing a stolen car.
Police say Sergeant Mark Smith and the driver and a passenger in the second car were hospitalized as a precaution and their injuries don't appear life-threatening.
Sergeant Paco Balderrama says the police chase was ended after the crash. The stolen car was found later in north Moore but the driver is still at large.
Balderrama says Smith had his emergency lights and sirens on when he crashed into the other car but other details such as the speed of the chase will be determined by an accident reconstruction team.
