Broken Arrow firefighters are looking for the cause of a fire that destroyed a home Monday morning.

The smoke could be seen from miles away.

Neighbors reported the fire at the home in the 200 Block of North Elder about 10 AM Monday. No one was home. The home is considered a total loss.

Broken Arrow firefighters were forced into a defensive mode because of strong winds.
