Ronnie McAdoo stands trial on Monday, in Grady County, for the first-degree murder of his 18-year-old girlfriend.

The couple was getting ready for movie night at McAdoo's Ninnekah house when he picked up the gun, pointed it at Staci Keller, and fired, authorities said. Keller was shot in the face, McAdoo says the shooting was an accident, he says he thought the gun wasn't loaded.

The medical examiner says evidence doesn't fit McAdooâ€™s story.
