OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Oklahoma's programs to prevent young people from using tobacco are improving and now rank 20th in the nation.

That's according to a recent report by a coalition of health organizations.

Oklahoma spends about $10 million a year on tobacco-prevention programs, which is less than half of the amount recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Last year, Oklahoma ranked 21st and spent about $8. million on tobacco prevention.
