The University of Tulsa women's basketball team add another "W" to the win column Saturday night defeating Missouri State, 70-51.

TU was on fire all night in the Reynolds Center, the Golden Hurricane lead by as many as 12 points in the 1st half, and going into halftime Tulsa was up by 8, 24-16. It was much the same in the 2nd half, TU led by as many as 26; some of those points came from the line. The Lady Bears had four players foul out of the game and three others were close with 4 fouls apiece.

Tulsa was led once again by All-American candidate Jillian Robbins. She scored 23 points, grabbed 14 boards, posted 3 steals and a block. Three Hurricane players, Robbins, Dana Idlet and Valerie Siemens, scored in the double digits, and Freshman Destanie Gardner had a team-best 5 steals and 4 assists.

TU improves to 4-5; they’ll get a week off before their match-up with Arkansas. The Hogs come to Tulsa December 16th, tip off is at 8:30 p.m.
