LOS ANGELES (AP) _ The New Orleans Hornets snapped their five-game losing streak by surprising the Los Angeles Lakers, 105-to-89.

Chris Paul had 26 points and eleven rebounds to lead the Hornets Wednesday night. Rasual Butler added 22 and Jannero Pargo had 21 points off the bench for the Hornets.

Kobe Bryant scored 24 and Lamar Odom added 20 for the Lakers, who had their three-game winning streak end.

Bryant sprained his right ankle in Monday's win over over Indiana but played anyway.
