A former Iraqi general speaks to Tulsans about the state of his country.

While US leaders call the situation grave, General Georges Sada who served under Saddam Hussein, preaches optimism. Sada watched first-hand as Saddam Hussein ruled the country with an iron fist. He was one of few, who dared to challenge the dictator.

Now that Saddam's gone, Sada is an author, speaker, and advocate for peace in his country. He praises America's actions, but says now is the time for change. “You have done the great job. The great job liberating Iraq is done in the best way. Now it's the time for the Iraqis to take over."

Sada says the Iraqi Army is close to being fully trained. Once they are he believes the US led troops should take a step back.
