OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- State officials say they'll consider changing a policy requiring state workers whose offices were closed two days last week to use personal leave to make up for the time.
Government workers were off Thursday and Friday after a winter storm dropped ice and snow on the state.
Oklahoma Public Employee Association Interim Director Scott Barger is sending a letter to Governor Brad Henry saying the workers should be given paid administrative leave instead of using personal leave time.
Henry spokesman Paul Sund says the governor will review the letter and take any action determined to be fair to state employees.
