A soldier's homecoming often brings thoughts of joy and it was a joyful day for one Green Country family.
Hugs and kisses greeted Private First Class Bradley Scott McGill at Tulsa International Airport Tuesday. McGill spent the last year in Iraq and says it feels good to be home.
“It's hard over there. Guys get lonely and just missed our family, wanna come back home. It feels good to be back home. I've done my duty for my country and I'm proud of it, proud to serve. I just wanna say USA all the way baby.â€
McGill only has three weeks to catch up with family. He'll return to Fort Bragg, North Carolina at the end of the month.
