It's a great time to be heading into the job market. Experts say college grads are in demand thanks to a strong economy and a large number of baby boomers preparing for retirement.
According to experts, students trading in their cap and gown for a suit and tie are heading into the best job market in four years. Employers are expected to hire close to 20-percent more new graduates this year compared to last year.
Alexandra Codispoti is an accounting major at TU. She's getting ready to graduate in December. Codispoti says after countless visits to career services, multiple job fairs and diligent networking, she's narrowed down the decision to two companies. "I’m looking at what I feel will be best for me and what I can do for the company and how I can make them a better place."
TU's Director of Career Services says students are being heavily courted and the outlook is good across the board, for all majors and industries.
Employers are bringing seniors to their home office, which are often times out of state. Students say the decision though, still comes down to competitive salary.
