The Cowboys are in the Big Apple for the Jimmy V Classic.

Up first for #22 Oklahoma State is #21 Syracuse. OSU has met the Orange on the hardwood four times; the series is knotted at two wins a piece. The undefeated Cowboys hope history repeats itself in Madison Square Garden, OSU last win over Syracuse was at the 2004 Jimmy V Classic.

OSU is fresh off a 90-74 victory over Pepperdine; Syracuse is looking for a â€œWâ€ after their 64-61 loss to Wichita State.

Pokes forward Marcus Dove might miss the game; heâ€™s been out with a sprained knee. A decision on whether he plays will be made just before game time.

Oklahoma State (9-0) takes on Syracuse (7-1) Tuesday night in the Jimmy V Classic, tip off is at 6 p.m. at Madison Square Garden.

The tournament raises money for cancer research and is named in honor of former North Carolina State coach Jim Valvano who died of cancer.
