ADA, Okla. (AP) -- Testimony is now under way in the first-degree murder trial of a Pontotoc County man who's accused of being an accomplice in the death of a 16-year-old Ada girl.
Faye Sliger is charged in the September 2005 shooting death of Caitlin Wooten and prosecutors say Sliger talked by phone with Wooten's killer -- Jerry Don Savage -- before Savage shot her then killed himself.
Wooten was kidnapped by Savage in the Ada High School parking and taken to a wooded area west of Ada where she was shot in the back of the head.
Prosecutors say the kidnapping was part of Savage's plan to re-start a relationship with Wooten's mother and that Sliger allowed Savage to use his pickup truck during the crime.
Sliger faces up to life in prison without parole if convicted.
