MANGUM, Okla. (AP) _ A December 18th trial date is now set for a convicted killer who spent more than a decade on the run after escaping a state prison with the wife of the prison's deputy warden.

Randolph Dial is charged in Greer County District Court with escaping from the Oklahoma State Reformatory in Granite in 1994.

Dial disappeared with Bobbi Parker _ the wife of then-deputy warden Randy Parker.

The two were found in April 2005 in Texas.

Dial has said he kidnapped Parker and forced her to stay with him all those years but he hasn't been charged in that case and no charges have been filed against Parker.
