BIG CABIN, Okla. (AP) _ A Vinita woman died when her car ran off a Craig County road.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that 49-year-old Kathrine Ramsey was driving north on a county road around 2:30 PM Friday when the vehicle ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

Ramsey suffered massive internal injuries and died at the scene of the accident east of Big Cabin.

Troopers say her 10-year-old son, Matthew, was pinned in the wreckage for 22 minutes and was transported by medical helicopter to Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. His condition wasn't immediately available.

The patrol says neither occupant wore a seat belt.
