57 Army soldiers woke up Tuesday morning to holiday leave with their families in the Tulsa area.
The soldiers have been training in New Jersey. They will have four days at home before heading to Iraq. The News on 6 was alongside family and friends at Tulsa International Airport Monday night when their flight arrived.
The soldiers were surprised by the support they received. PFC Tyson Broadfoot: "It's breathtaking. It means a lot to people. Not only just our families being here, but being on the flights and the respect that people give you for doing your duty to your country."
It is a short leave, but Private Tyson says he's glad to be home for Thanksgiving with his wife.
