2006 West Nile Season One Of The Worst In Oklahoma

An on-going drought and unseasonably hot June contributed to the deadliest season for the West Nile Virus in Oklahoma.

Health officials say five people died this year from West Nile.

The first case was discovered in Oklahoma in 2002.
