NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ The Oklahoma wrestling team returns to Norman this week to host the 36th annual Oklahoma Open on Thanksgiving weekend.
The Sooners just wrapped up a competition at the seventh annual Missouri open Sunday, where they placed ten wrestlers in the contest in Columbia, Missouri.
Freshman Nathan Fernandez won the only Oklahoma individual title as he defeated teammate Luis Hernandez in the heavyweight final of the freshman-sophomore division.
The Sooners didn't take Sam Hazewinkel, Matt Storniolo or Will Rowe because they are scheduled to compete at the 41st annual NWCA All-Star Classic inside the Dallas Convention Center.
