STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Mario Boggan continues his early season dominance inside, scoring 21 points to lead Oklahoma State to an 86-to-67 win over Sam Houston State.
Boggan, a senior forward, went 6 of 10 from the field and made all nine of his free-throw attempts for OSU, which posted its second win of the basketball season over a Southland Conference foe.
The Cowboys beat Northwestern State on Wednesday. OSU is 4-and-0 after Sunday's win.
Sam Houston State also lost earlier this season to another Big 12 Conference team, Texas Tech. The Bearkats are 1-and-2 this season.
Senior forward David Monds matched a career high for OSU with 17 points, including a 3-pointer late in the first half.
Sophomore guard Terrel Harris made 4-of-6 3-point attempts and scored 13 of his 18 points in the second half for the Cowboys.
