A Tulsa school held a very special soldier salute Friday. Students at Regent Preparatory School honored grandparents who are also Veterans.
The festivities included songs, scripture and a color guard. School leaders say the students worked on this for weeks. Headmaster Andrew Shapleigh: "the kids I think, the students really appreciate the tradition. They've studied history in the classroom, so as they understand how their grandparents fit into that history, it really brings it alive for them."
Students from pre-K to 8th grade participated.
