OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Peja Stojakovic poured in a career-high 42 points and the New Orleans Hornets ended a three-game losing streak by downing Charlotte 94-to-85.
Stojakovic scored eleven points during a 13-to-4 fourth-quarter run and grabbed three loose balls down the stretch last night.
He hit three straight baskets in a 10-0 spurt after the Bobcats took a 60-to-59 lead in the third period.
Stojakovic provided the Hornets' first 20 points of the game. He hit his first seven shots, including four-three-pointers, and was 4-for-4 from the line in the first quarter.
Emeka Okafor had 25 points, 16 rebounds and a career-high seven blocks to lead Charlotte. Rookie Adam Morrison matched his season high with 21 points.
