Bell’s Amusement Park might not have to pack up and move after all.
The park's lease ran out last week and Tulsa County gave Bell’s 120 days to clear the land.
Now, Tulsa County Commissioner Randi Miller wants Bell’s to prove it has the finances to keep paying rent, and maintaining the rides. Miller said late Tuesday she wants some independent accountants to review the parks books. If they approve of the business plan Miller says she would support a renewal of Bell’s lease.
Bell’s Amusement Park is a Tulsa landmark that’s been in the same midtown location for more than 50 years.
