NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma running back Allen Patrick returned to practice after suffering an ankle injury against Texas A&M.

The injury kept Patrick out of Saturday's Texas Tech game.

Coach Bob Stoops says Patrick got in a little practice work and seems to be improving.

Patrick rushed for 440 yards in three games after replacing Adrian Peterson when Peterson broke his collar bone.

Stoops says it's possible Peterson would be able to return for the Oklahoma State game on November 25th.
