Students at Tulsa's Town and Country elementary got a special visit from the TU softball squad Tuesday.
The girls read books to children, as part of the National Young Readers Day.
Several University of Tulsa football players also read to students at Tulsa's Celia Clinton Elementary.
National Young Readers Day was created by Pizza Hut and the Center for the Book in the Library of Congress in 1989 as a way to celebrate literacy in schools.
