GLENCOE, Okla. (AP) -- A 19-year-old Texas man was killed early Sunday morning when the pickup truck he was riding in crashed along the Cimarron Turnpike near Glencoe.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Garrett Kennedy of Pampa, Texas, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened just before 4 o-clock Sunday morning.
Kennedy was a passenger in a pickup driven by Chase Philips of Pampa, Texas. Philips and two other passengers weren't injured.
The patrol says Philips apparently fell asleep and ran off the side of the road. The truck rolled and threw Kennedy from the passenger-side window.
