OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The head of the state Election Board is hoping to have a new election system in place statewide in time for the 2008 presidential election.
The Election Board has about $30-million from the federal government to help pay for new computer voting technology and Michael Clingman wants to use it to replace the current voting system.
Clingman says the computer system used in Oklahoma was made in 1990.
