Families of those serving in the war in Iraq will have the chance to see a top Christian artist in concert for free.
Mark Schultz is performing at the Mabee Center Thursday; his song "Letters From War" has been a powerful number and highly requested at the concerts. He says it's a song that touches the soul.
"Letters from war, when we play the DVD that the army made of it, when we went to the pentagon, we performed there, we do that song and it's a standing ovation and then we have all the veterans stand up and I had grown men 80 year old men come up and hug me and say they've been waiting 50 years something like this to happen."
There are still tickets available for the show, and spouses and immediate family members of active duty military get a free ticket. You just need to show active duty service papers.
The concert is at 7 PM Thursday.
