No one was injured when a RV caught fire Thursday morning on the Turner Turnpike near Sapulpa.

The blaze destroyed the RV and closed two eastbound lanes of I-44 between Kellyville and Sapulpa for a short time.

The Sapulpa Fire Department quickly extinguished the fire. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says there was an oil leak in the engine compartment of the RV and that is believed to be the cause of the fire.

A family from Oklahoma City was on their way to Branson, Missouri when the RV caught fire.
