SHAWNEE, Okla. (AP) _ The actor who played know-it-all mailman Cliff Clavin on the long-running television sitcom ``Cheers'' is visiting Oklahoma this week.

John Ratzenberger will film three segments for his Travel Channel show, ``John Ratzenberger's Made in America,'' featuring Oklahoma manufacturers.

Ratzenberger says he's looking for businesses where he can talk about the person who founded the business. he says children need to know how businesses get started and says most begin with people just ``tinkering around.''

Ratzenberger arrived in Oklahoma City on Monday and plans to visit Shawnee Milling Company and Round House Brand Workwear in Shawnee. He's to be in Perry tomorrow to visit Charles Machine Works which makes Ditch Witch trenching machines.

All three companies began during the first decade of the 1900s.
