GUTHRIE, Okla. (AP) -- A Coyle man is dead after driving his pickup under the trailer of a semi Wednesday morning on Interstate 35 just south of Guthrie.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says William Blackwell was killed in the crash on Interstate 35.

Troopers say Blackwell was southbound when a southbound semi in front of him slowed for traffic and Blackwell hit the trailer and his pickup became lodged and was dragged about 300 feet.
