TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. (AP) -- A soldier from Miami who was killed in Iraq will be honored by Tinker Air Force Base.
The base will name the newly renovated dog kennel as the "Technical Sergeant Jason L- Norton Military Working Dog Kennel."
Lieutenant Colonel Max Dubroff commands the security forces squadron at the base and says Norton spent four years based at Tinker and worked with military dogs while based in Alaska.
Norton was killed by a roadside bomb in January.
