Investigators say they don't think weather caused a plane crash that killed two men and injured two others in Osage County. The crash happened early Sunday morning five miles northwest of Hominy.
A father and son along with two family friends were returning to Wichita after attending a concert in Tulsa Saturday night. That trip was cut short when their Cessna crashed in a rural Osage county field.
The pilot, 17 year old Ryan was killed. His father Markham also died. John Rice and Ryan Biedron, both 18, survived and are in fair condition at a Tulsa hospital.
Investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board and the FAA say it could be at least six months before they know what killed Ryan and his father. Bill Gamble with the NTSB ""our mission is to find out what happened and why it happened, and see if there is anything we can do to keep it from happening again."
The NTSB says the Cessna was only three years old and appeared to be in excellent condition.
Investigators say even though Ryan Sageser was only 17, he was a qualified pilot. According to the owner of the Cessna, Ryan had received his pilot's license and logged more than 60 hours of flight time.
