Economic consultants expect a business boom from ‘The Channels.’
Experts say the $800-million project will bring in four times that in the short-term. They predict the project will have an economic impact of 40-times its price tag over the long term.
Consultant Angelos Angelou: "It's really the vision of creating a quality of life and a quality of place that begins to define the region for the next 30, 40, 50 years."
Altogether, the consultants say ‘The Channels’ will have an $38-billion economic impact on Tulsa. Most of what they're betting on is increased city prestige, which they say will bring in more business.
