IRVING, Texas (AP) _ The Dallas Cowboy signed linebacker Junior Glymph off Pittsburgh's practice squad Friday and cut fullback Lousaka Polite to make room.
Glymph played three games for Dallas last season and was with the club in training camp. He also played three games for Atlanta in 2004.
Coach Bill Parcells said Glymph could be active Monday night against the New York Giants, in part because rookie defensive end Jason Hatcher is questionable with a sprained ankle.
``I feel like I need a pass rusher, possibly,'' Parcells said. ``I kind of like what I saw in preseason.''
Polite played the first four games this season, then was inactive last week. He played 14 games last season and one as a rookie in 2004.
``He's smart, dependable, durable,'' Parcells said. ``But this is his third year now. I didn't see what I need.''
Without Polite, the Cowboys have no true fullback on the roster.
