OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Texas Tech basketball coach Bob Knight has agreed to a contract extension that will keep him with the Red Raiders through 2012. He just hasn't signed it yet.

Knight needs 11 victories this season to become the winningest coach in NCAA Division I history.

The contract, which also needs to be approved by the university's board of regents, would be for $300,000 a year with a guaranteed $600,000 in outside income.
