DALLAS (AP) _ Oklahoma State is picked 3rd and Oklahoma is 9th in the Big 12 basketball pre-season coaches poll.

Kansas is the choice to win the conference. The Jayhawks received eleven of the 12 first place votes with Texas A&M getting the other first-place vote and finishing second in the poll.

The coaches are not allowed to vote for their own team.

After OSU in third place is Texas, Kansas State, Texas Tech, Baylor and Missouri.

OU is next at 9th followed by Nebraska, Iowa State and Colorado.
