A man is in the Tulsa County jail following a shooting in the 500 block of North 53rd West Avenue.

Steven Mize turned himself in early Monday. He faces one count of shooting with intent to kill.

Tulsa County Sheriffâ€™s deputies say he shot his roommate after an argument over a pit bull puppy.

The victim has not been identified. He has been hospitalized. His injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
