TULSA, Okla. (AP) Tulsa's volleyball squad extended its win streak to 9 matches by defeating East Carolina, 3-0.

TU improves to 18-3 on the season and 5-0 in Conference USA play.

Three TU hitters reached double-figures in kills for the match, led by junior Kassiana Urnaus 17. Fellow junior Fabiola Nepomuceno and senior Germana Hilario also contributed 12 kills apiece.

Junior Julia Silva posted 45 assists, while Urnaus recorded her 13th double-double of the season with 13 digs.

Tulsa ranks 2nd nationally in victories this season with 18, just behind St. John's with 19.

Tulsa travels to UTEP on Friday.
