MADISON, Miss. (AP) _ Bixby's Bo Van Pelt is among a group of golfers tied for tenth place at the PGA Tour's Southern Farm Bureau Classic heading into today's third round.

Van Pelt followed his opening round 69 by shooting 70 Friday. He's at 5-under-par for the tournament and six shots behind leader DJ Trahan. Brad Faxon and Joe Durant are tied for second at nine-under-par.

Including Van Pelt, 13 golfers are tied for 10th place heading into the weekend. Van Pelt is seeking his first PGA Tour win. The former Oklahoma State golfer has one win on the Nationwide Tour, but he's never finished higher than third on the PGA Tour.
