HUNTSVILLE, Texas (AP) _ Former Oklahoma quarterback Rhett Bomar is still awaiting a ruling from the NCAA on his eligibility.

Bomar transferred to Sam Houston State after being dismissed by OU and declared ineligible for accepting pay for work he did not perform at a Norman car dealership.

Sam Houston coach Todd Whitten says he's not sure when Bomar's request for reinstatement will be heard.

Because Sam Houston is a Division 1AA school Bomar would be eligible to play as soon as his eligibility is reinstated.
