OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A state board is investigating Oklahoma City social worker Bryan Post for alleged questionable academic credentials and odd treatment methods.

Post calls the allegations ``ridiculous.''

The state social workers' board is telling Post to stop claiming on his Web site that he has a doctorate in social work and wants him to respond to allegations he uses unorthodox treatments.

The treatments are said to include telling parents to ``lick their children in the face.''

Post is founder of the Post Institute for Family-Centered Therapy in southeast Oklahoma City. His Web site describes him as an internationally recognized specialist in the treatment of emotional and behavioral disturbance in children and families.

Post also says he has a doctorate in social work from Columbus University School of Public Administration in New Orleans.

State officials say the university has never been licensed in Louisiana and is not accredited by a recognized accrediting agency.
