State Accident Fatality Count Down Slightly

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the state's traffic accident fatality count through yesterday is down slightly from last year.

The OHP says that through yesterday, 532 people have died this year on Oklahoma roads. That's compared to 543 people at the same time last year.

During this September, 40 people have died on state roads, compared to 51 who died through this date during September last year.
