A hit and run accident left a Bartlesville teenager seriously injured but the driver who hit him hasn't been found.
15 year old Jacob Garrett is recovering at home in Bartlesville after surgery to repair his broken legs. He’ll be off his feet at least another 6 weeks. He was hit by a pickup while trying to walk across US Highway 75 at Ramona in Washington County.
The pickup that hit him was damaged and Ramona Police believe it was a dark colored 1999 Chevrolet Silverado.
The driver didn't stop. Jacob’s father Jerry Garrett: "I don't see how you can hit a 260 lb boy that's 6 foot 7 and not know you hit him."
Ramona Police are hoping someone has seen a dark blue pickup, with damage on the right front.
Anyone with information should call Ramona Police at 440-8044.
