After almost a year and a half under construction, the Jenks High School has a new fitness facility.

The News on 6 took a tour of the new facility Thursday.

The three-story building offers new locker rooms for the players. A state of the art Olympic weight room. A new rehabilitation center, new offices for coaches. According to Jenks High School football coach Allen Trimble, the hope is everyone in Jenks will soon be able to enjoy the new building. "We hope to eventually involve the community with the fitness center. The buildings been designed to have public access to the fitness center as well as public access to the rehabilitation center."

The Jenks Trojans will christen their new building Friday night.
