Tulsa Project Woman teamed up with the Susan G. Comen Breast Cancer Foundation for an event targeted at the African American community.

6 in the Morning's LeAnne Taylor and former News on 6 anchor Kim Graham were both on hand to bring health issues to more than 350 minority women.

Kim Graham: "We're hoping today, and of course this is going to be an ongoing outreach, but really today, that we can just light a fire under minority women and make them say hey we're going to take charge of our own health, we're going to fight this breast cancer, and we're gonna win."

Tulsa Project Women provides mammograms, education and diagnostic and surgical procedures to women with no health insurance and limited financial resources.
