STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma State University sophomore punter Matt Fodge is leading the nation with a 52.2-yard punting average on 11 punts this year.

Fodge credits switching back to a traditional punt formation and working with strength coach Rob Glass during the off-season to improving on last season's 39.9-yard average.

Fodge says the off-season workouts increased his strength and flexibility.
