Organizers of some upcoming charity walks say the death of a 15-year-old during a charity bike tour has prompted them to pay extra attention to safety.

Charlie Vogann died Saturday after being hit by a semi-truck during the MS 150 Bike Tour. Vogann's sister Sabrina Aldrich blames what she calls a lack of safety precautions for her brother's death.

Organizers of other events say safety is always a primary concern, but the tragedy has caused them to be extra careful this year. Larry Johnson with Restore Hope Ministries: "I think what each organization will do is look more carefully at their routes, their crossing, any danger spots."

Authorities are still investigating the accident that killed Charlie Vogann.
