A Tulsa woman is turning her tragedy into help for another family in need. Gerri Henderson's daughter Lisa was murdered in Tulsa 27 years ago. She was kidnapped from her front yard, her body found 11 days later.

That murder has never been solved; despite the fact the community raised $15,000 for a reward fund.

Gerri felt drawn to another cold case, the murder of Brittany Phillips in 2004. When Gerri heard the reward fund for Brittanyâ€™s case had expired, she decided to give $5,000 from her daughter's reward fund to Brittany's.

Gerri Henderson: "Brittany's story really touched me. From the first time I saw it, there was some kind of connection, I don't know why. Probably because she was the same age as my daughter, an attractive teenager, an innocent victim."

Brittany's mother was overwhelmed by Gerri's generous offer. Both mothers say they will get no real peace until the men who killed their daughters are finally caught.
