NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- A spokesman for University of Oklahoma President David Boren says an accident during a chemistry experiment led to a small explosion Thursday morning that blew out two windows shortly before noon.
No injuries are reported.
Blake Rambo says a student was working on an experiment that caused an unexpected chemical reaction in an enclosed area where there was hydrogen gas.
Rambo says there were two students in the area on the sixth floor of the George Lynn Cross Building when the accident occurred and Norman firefighters were called to the scene.
